The rule and criteria of selection of Supreme Court judges - Coalition of NGOs have sent comments to the Venice Commission regarding the draft law prepared by Parliament Speaker.
The Coalition for Independent and Transparent Judiciary says that Kobakhidze"s draft law protects the clan"s interests in the judiciary system.According to them, the draft law can not answer the main challenges of the Georgian judiciary system.
"The draft law does not meet the challenges the Georgian judiciary system is facing today in Georgia and on the contrary it serves to strengthen the clan"s interests, "said Benidze.
