Social workers across the country are on strike. Representatives of NGOs and trade unions joined the protest outside the government"s administration building.
Social workers demand a meeting with the Prime Minister and urge to meet their demands. Among the demands is to improve working conditions, as well as to direct the state resource to the protection of the rights of those, who are victims of violence. They demand the full reform of the social service as well.

"It is not normal when a social worker demands to protect the labour code in the Ministry of Health", - states the Chairman of the Trade Union Irakli Petriashvili.
