Strong wind has caused significant damage to several villages in the Samegrelo region. 

The roofs of several houses were torn off in the IDPs’ settlement and 7 other private houses. In addition, the roofs of several kindergartens and a municipal building in the village of Chkhori were damaged.

The bad weather also damaged power lines, leaving low-zone villages without electricity. 

Energo-Pro Georgia co. and local authorities are working together to cope with the situation.
