According to her, the hunt on families emigrated from Georgia started after the statement made by the Foreign Minister in Spain. Zalkaliani told the Spanish authorities that Georgia is a safe country and somehow hinted not to accept citizens of Georgia.

The Interior Ministry says that the preparation for a special operation began with Spanish law enforcers a year ago. The detainees will be judged by the Spanish legislation - theft of the apartment and participation in organized crime.
