Citizens of Georgian detained during the special operation in Barcelona have been transferred to the police station. Judge should make a decision about leaving them in Spain.
Some Georgians living in the country speak about the unbearable situation. According to their information, the situation was complicated and the Spanish law enforcers attacked them after Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani paid an official visit to Spain.
A special operation was held yesterday to detain Georgians living in Barcelona in the building, where citizens of Georgia have been living for more than a year.
"As the Spanish side says, about 11 detained Georgians are accused of crimes, robbing apartments, robbery. About 200 policemen entered, besieged the building and the police said that it was a special operation against criminals.Georgians are in this situation after Davit Zalkaliani"s arrival. The condition of Georgians was very bad especially of those Georgians who are with their families and with little children. The Red Cross is no longer being called and the people are in a very unbearable state, "Giorgi Nozadze, a resident of Spain, told Courier.
