The Georgian Orthodox Church is celebrating Holy Annunciation Day (Khareba) on April 7.
The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia has been delivering a divine liturgy at Khareba Church, located in the yard of St. Trinity Cathedral since morning.

The Annunciation holiday depicts the primary annunciation that was made by Archangel Gabriel to Virgin Mary about the birth of Jesus Christ.

Today is one of the greatest celebrations for believers. According to the Gospel, on this day, together with Saint Mary, all mankindwas  told that God saved people from the perpetual captivity of death and sin.
