The Ombudsman has published the 2014 report emphasazing the need for a timely investigation.of the high-profile cases.

At a special press conference Nanuashvili talked about the cases where question marks still remain including the alleged illegal deprivation of liberty of the City Hall and the City Council,employees, Tsiklauri beating and other cases.

He also noted that the prosecution should carry timely investigation of Kitsmarishvili and Besik Khardziani cases.

Nanuashvili stressed the importance of the prosecutor"s office independence and explained that despite repeated recommendations of the Public Defender`s Office, there still were legitimate questions about the impartiality of the prosecutor`s office.
