The situation in Pankisi Gorge is still tense. Kakha Sabanadze, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs calls on the locals for calm.
The locals claim that instead of using force against them, the authorities should talk about the HPP issue and provide them with complete information.
"The boys are wounded, the government has little communicating with the population and this gathering was caused by the wrong information, we have lost enough of our children, they will not spare our children,"- said one of the local residents, Leila Achishvili.
She also said that she had been at meeting with Maia Tskitishvili, Levan Davitashvili and Natia Turnava several days ago and locals demand to provide them with complete information.
