The situation in the Pankisi Gorge is extremely tense. Additional forces are introduced in the gorge, and the situation is out of control.
The police started raiding the rally participants. Special unit is using rubber bullets and tear gas. The locals are throwing stones at law enforcement officials. The water cannons are mobilized on the spot, but at this point have not been used by the special unit.
