Confrontation and clashes in Pankisi - more than 40 people are injured

The health condition of the injured in the clashes in Pankisi is satisfactory. Part of them has already been discharged from the hospital.
M ore than 40 injured people were brought in two clinics of Telavi yesterday,. Among them were law enforcers, as well as demonstrators and media representatives.
Specialists explain that they do not have life-threatening injuries.Several patients are still underway observation .
"At this stage, it is unlikely that they will be transferred to Tbilisi because they have surface traumas, in the head and chest area," said Avtandil Talakvadze, Director of Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center.
