Border guards of Azerbaijan locked the road to the Cathedral in Davit Gareji. For three days, neither the monks nor the pilgrims are allowed to enter the temple.

For the last few hours,  border guards of Azerbaijan work intensively. They are digging the ground from Azerbaijan territory in direction to Davit Gareji.

The commander of the Azeri army has supposedly visited the spot. He had a conversation with Georgian border guards but refused to make comments for media.
