The family of deceased Levan Kortava released a statement.
According to them, one of those convicted in the case, Teimuraz Gureshidze, is innocent.

The family also requires the services of the Ministry of Health to study the activities of those doctors, who treated transported from the prison Levan Kortava.

Levan Kortava,who was severely beaten ,was found unconscious in prison in 2013. He passed away after being transported to the hospital.
