The newly appointed chairman of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, Ruslan Abashidze will start working in the new capacity from tomorrow.
Abashidze says he will hold consultations with representatives of the Abkhazian Council to write an action plan.
Ruslan Abashidze responded to the part of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia. Part of the members of the board think that Abashidze was appointed by the State Security. The new chairman of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia calls accusations absurd.
"I have stated not once that consultations were held with the Supreme Council and these consultations are over," said Ruslan Abashidze.
As for his friendship with the President of Georgia, Ruslan Abashidze confirms friendship with Salome Zourabichvili, but says that his appointment to the position and his friendship with the President do not have any connection. The newly appointed chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia transferred 65 thousand GEL to Salome Zurabishvili during the presidential campaign.
