Why have visa regulations been tightened?

Opposition demands explanations from the Minister of Justice regarding tightening visa regulations for the EU countries.
The parliamentary minority said the visa policy, which cost the country a few hundred million, was not the European Union request.

National Movement is asking Thea Tsulukiani give answer to the concrete questions.

Justice Minister declined to comment. 2 days ago She explained that the procedure for issuing visas at the border will not be restored.

New visa regulations came into force September 1 last year. Unilateral visa-free regime has been reduced to 94 countries. Restrictions were imposed on the length of stay of citizens of EU member states.

The opposition said that due to new regulationsthe country lost 400 million
last year.
