Georgian border guards do not let pilgrims and tourists to the perimeter. As for road construction works, Azerbaijanis increase the road scale with the help of equipment.

The local guide, who has been working in David Gareji for years, said that this happens for the first time that the pilgrims and tourists are not allowed anywhere except the Lavra.

"The border guards are already standing down and they don"t let us even to reach the ridge,"- says the guide, Zviad Ananaiashvili.
