Journalist Saba Tsitsikashvili is at General Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The editor of Qartli.ge blames law enforcers in attacking him and interfering in the journalistic activity. According to Tsitsikashvili, he was attacked by police when he was trying to shoot a car accident near Gori. According to him, the cameraman also recorded the fact of the crime committed by the police. Saba Tsitsikashvili names specific surnames. He says he was physically assaulted by the policemen Alexander Okhanashvili and Ramaz Grigalashvili.
"I have video footage taken at night, on the highway. Our goal is to punish these policemen because of their actions. Therefore, we request to punish Aleksandre Okhanashvili and Ramaz Grigalashvili, "said Saba Tsitsikashvili.
Saba Tsitsikashvili was accompanied by the attorney in the General Inspection. According to Aleksandre Merebashvili, his client has identified two policemen. But more than 10 law enforcers participated in the incident, whose identification the lawyer requested.
As for the accident on the highway, the journalist of Qartli.ge tried to film how the juvenile who was drunk hijacked the law enforcers` car. The teenager was moving at high speed, which resulted in an accident. The law enforcers arrested him in Gori.
