Supreme Council of Justice will discuss the issue of appointing judges through competitive election

The appointment of judges through competetive election will be the main issue of discussion at the next session of teh Supreme Council of Justice.

The cases of disciplinary violations will be studied as well

This was discussed at yesterday"s meeting chaired for the first time by Nino Gvenetadze.

The meeting also discussed a number of legislative changes to be implemented.

Georgian Young Lawyers" Association said that their NGO will be actively involved in the process and will periodically inform the public about the positive or negative events recorded in the Council.
