The Patriarchate of Georgia publishes a statement and calls on the government to show maximum loyalty to the defendants detained on the night of 20 June.
"We once again express our concern about the events of June 19-20 and sympathize with all the victims. In addition, we appeal to the authorities, in the capacity of law, to show maximum loyalty to detainees.

It is true that some of them have already been released but we ask them to be tolerant with other detainees, "the statement reads.
