The Abkhazian occupation regime has closed the border. The reason is the protest rallies in various cities of Georgia including Zugdidi, which, according to the de facto authorities, is provocative.
At this stage, it is not clear when the de facto government is going to open the so-called border. This decision has already caused problems for Georgians living in Gali district.
