The Free Democrats are preparing to summon the Prosecutor General to the Parliament. The opposition will submit an official request at the first session. Alasania`s team wants to know why the Prosecution needed an additional investigative mechanism to uphold justice and what are the goals of establishing the agency. The membersof faction believe that the response to these questions at a meeting of the Human Rights Committee is not enough. The meeting was not attended by Badashvili.

It has been known that the National Movement will join the Free Democrats demand. Parliamentary opposition factions had had consultations on this subject.

National Movement are confident that the new department is another tool in the political struggle.

The majority does not see the need of summoning the Prosecutor General. 
The new Department of the Prosecutor"s Office was established on March 4. The presentation was attended by the executive branch.
