Public Defender met with the members of Advisory Council. Public Defender was given advice for improving the situation of human rights protection in the country.

One of the recommendations is to urge the government to prepare a report fon the Human Rights in Georgia for the UN .

"It is good that some recommendations are followed. Georgia has problems with submission of reports to the United Nations, " - said the UN independent expert on human rights and international solidarity Virginia Dandan.

According to the recommendation, the Ombudsman should help the government to prepare report on human rights in Georgia and request its submission to the United Nations.
