Another lie of the Georgian government, which is already confirmed by official data - while the ruling team cites a decline of tourist flow due to the Russian tourist embargo, according to official figures, the number of tourists in Georgia has not only decreased but increased. The data was released today by the National Tourism Agency.
Summing up the statistics for tourism in the second quarter of July, Mariam Kvrivishvili, head of the National Tourism Administration, said that tourist inflow increased.
As for last year, according to statistics, in July, the number of visitors increased by 5.8 per cent compared to last year.
“In July, total international visitors increased by four and a half per cent. We have a one per cent increase in tourist visits," - Kvrivishvili said.
