Ana Subeliani case - the court left the accused in custody

A person detained for inflicting physical injury on civilian activist Ana Subeliani at the premiere of the film “And Then we Dance” stays in custody.

The offender pleads guilty. The detainee was refused bail of GEL 3,000. The Prosecutor"s Office recognized Subeliani as a victim, and Shalva Shevardnadze was charged with health damage.

According to the lawyer of the criminal, Shalva Shevardnadze did not harm Subeliani for the purpose of sexism or hatred. The offending party disagrees with the charges and plans to appeal the verdict.
