Mikheil Chkhenkeli became the Minister of Education

Mikheil Chkhenkeli has been appointed Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

According to the information that Rustavi 2 received in the Government administration, the relevant order was signed by Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia today.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli has been the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Georgia on Education up to now. In 2017-2018 he was the Minister of Education and Science. Before that he was Vice-Rector of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Chkhenkeli holds a PhD and is a member of the Association of Professors of US Universities.
