The only bright spot that gave me hope that the country would emerge from a permanent political crisis and take real steps towards democratic development was the shift to a proportional electoral system.

The citizens of our country have the right to fair elections, the right to participate in political life and the right to have their political will adequately and proportionally reflected in the election results! These rights are being deprived by the electoral system we have today”, - wrote Nino Lomjaria.
