Law enforcers detained four persons, who were hampering employees of the Adjara government to enter the building.

The detainees were taken to Batumi police station.

Among them was Rezo Kharazi, a member of the United National Movement.

Law enforcers are mobilized around the Adjara Government House as well. Employees of the Adjara Government managed to enter the building. Protesters picketed the entrance to the building in the morning. They are protesting against the Parliament’s failure to pass the bill on transition to the proportional electoral system.

They demand the resignation of Adjara government.
MIA confirms detention of 4 persons. According to the Ministry, the detention was carried out in accordance with Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which implies disobedience to the police request.
