The fire in Abkhazia covered 11,000 hectares area

The helicopters of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are still fighting the fire in Abkhazia.

Firefighters in Gagra and Tsivtskaro are unable to extinguish the fires because of poor visibility.

Forests in Abkhazia are burning for 7-11 thousand hectares. As a result of the fire, heavy smoke is also observed in Sokhumi, Gagra, Gudauta and Akhali Atoni.

Such information is spread by Sputnik-Abkhazia.
