Vazha Gaprindashvili"s release was supposedly discussed at the preparatory meeting to the 50th round of the Geneva International Discussions.

Co-chairs of the format arrived in occupied Tskhinvali. According to Sputnik, during the meetings EU, OSCE and UN officials focused on the humanitarian problems created by the closure of the checkpoints and demanded their timely opening.

The Co-Chairs said that checkpoints and borerizatiop were the main topics of discussion in the occupied region.
