Georgian PM urges Finance Minister to consider decreasing foreign currency lending threshold to 100,000 GEL

Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has urged Finance Minister Ivane Matchavariani to consider the possibility of decreasing the foreign currency lending threshold from 200,000 GEL to 100,000 GEL at the Government meeting today.

Up until now loans worth less than 200,000 GEL had to be given in the GEL.

“The biggest challenge and goal of our country in the coming years will be economic growth and the creation of new jobs”, - said the Head of the Government.
