For the first time in three years the Normandy Four summit started in Paris in order to resolve the situation in Donbas.

In addition, the first bilateral meeting is expected to be held between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, who have only communicated over the phone so far.

The Normandy summit was protested by feminist activists. A semi-naked Feminist activist was arrested by police when she chanted “Stop Putin”.

Merkel-Putin’s meeting is also planned within the Normandy format. The leaders will also talk about the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Germany because of Khangoshvili’s case.
