The Minister of Economy linked the strengthening of the GEL with the coordinated work of the Government. According to Natia Turnava, this is an ongoing process and the GEL will continue to strengthen.

According to National Bank, the official exchange rate of GEL against the dollar is 2.,90 GEL.

“The strengthening of the GEL is a fact, it is an ongoing process. I very much hope, and not just hope, I believe the GEL will continue to strengthen. This is the result of our coordinated, targeted economic policy. On the one hand, we are trying our best to defeat the inflation and the population will soon feel it”, - said Natia Turnava.
