At the "Sarpi" checkpoint, pests were found in 49 tonnes of potatoes imported from Turkey. The Revenue Service reports this information.
"Within the framework of the Phytosanitary Border Control, potatos were subjected to laboratory research on quarantine pests.
The study confirmed the presence of “Clavibacter Michiganensis Subsp. Sepedonicus” in the potatoes.
The cargo will be returned to the exporting country”, - reads the statement of the Service.
