The Parliamentary Network on Diaspora Policies of the Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) is holding its conference in Tbilisi.
The conference is organized in the framework of Georgian presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
Event focuses on “Diasporas’ active participation in state-building processes”.
The main topics of discussions will be: the role of diaspora in the countries of origin and host countries, the way in which diaspora affect state-building processes, the instruments that countries should provide to facilitate the impact of diaspora.
The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili and the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze will address the participants of the conference.
