The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia responded on the letter of two US congressmen - Adam Kinzinger and Gerald E. Connolly - regarding the ongoing protests in Tbilisi.
According to David Zalkaliani, the advices of US is really very important to Georgia.
“We have always had and will have communication with them [the US Government, other state institutions] and they [the congressmen] will receive precise information on ongoing process in Tbilisi. We assume that much controversial information is reaching Washington and in this situation, maintaining correct and timely communication with them plays an important role. US-Georgia relations, in all fields, is at an all-time high and the very-close cooperation and partnership will continue”, - concluded the Minister.
