The Parliamentary Delegation, within the official visit to the USA, held the meeting with the NED President, Carl Gershman, Assistant Administrator for USAID’s Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Brock Bierman and his Deputy, Alexander Sokolowski, as well as the representatives of the Research Centers in Washington D.C.

The parties discussed upheld and ongoing democratic reforms in Georgia, including in judicial and electoral spheres being held providing OSCE/ODIHR recommendations.

The emphasis was made on the challenges in the region and Georgia and the main directions and priorities of the national security policy of Georgia in response thereof.
