Procedural Issues and Rules Committee will discuss Nika Melia’s replacement

The Procedural Issues and Rules Committee of the Parliament of Georgia will consider the replacement of Nika Melia.

The Committee will discuss the notion of parliamentary authority of Badri Basishvili.

If the commission approves it, the voting is planned for spring session. If the replacement is approved, if the upper court justifies Nika Melia, he loses the chance to return to parliament and get his mandate back.

The parliamentary mandate of Nika Melia, the Member of the United National Movement, was suspended on December 12.
