A rally in support of the TV companies is underway at the moment.

Members of the Change and Shame movements are rallying to show support to the TV channels Rustavi 2, TV Pirveli and Kavkasia TV, which accounts of have been collected by the Ministry of Finance.

According to the rally participants, there is a selective justice in the country.

“Bidzina Ivanishvili decided to shut down all media outlets that are critical. At the same time, we see selective justice because the media outlet that broadcasts the state narrative has millions of debt, but the company has no problems. Problems are created for the televisions that broadcast the truth and talk about the current crisis in the country”, - said Dimitri Bidzinashvili, a member of the Change movement.

Nino Jangirashvili, Director General of Kavkasia TV, does not understand why the Ministry of Finance did not collect other TV stations that also have budget debt.

“We were demanding a fair approach, we were demanding equality. I have only one question – why they are not doing the same with Imedi and Maestro?”, - said Nino Jangirashvili.
