The Head of the Institute for Democracy Research responded to the closure of the checkpoint by the occupation regime.

According to Ucha Nanuashvili, there is a humanitarian crisis in Akhalgori for 4 months already. This has had the hardest consequences for the population. This vicious practice must be completed timely.

“This is a very big problem for thousands of people. Hundreds of people today are divided and by the occupation line”, - said Ucha Nanuashvili.
