The so-called Perevi - Kardzmani checkpoint has been reopened today.

Citizens are able to leave the occupied territories and enter the territory controlled by the Georgian Government. They say many people wanted to visit their relatives on holidays.

The de facto authorities of Tskhinvali closed the crossing point on December 30, “due to increased security threats in New Year days”.
