The termination of the contract for the Anaklia Consortium has been commented by Elizabeth Rood, the Acting Ambassador of the United States to Georgia.

“I have heard today that the Georgian government has terminated a contract with the Anaklia Consortium. The United States continues to believe that the Anaklia Project is an important strategic project for Georgia. Also, we welcome American investment in this project” – said Elizabeth Rood.
