The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili talked about the dialogue with the Abkhaz side. According to her, there is space for dialogue and conversation as well as the forms.
“As for the dialogue, we made it clear for a long time and we are taking steps to expand dialogue with the Abkhaz and Ossetian society. This is necessary and I think there are relevant forms as well as space and issues.
The core of our peace policy, including the new peace initiative “A Step to a Better Future” and a whole engagement policy is the promotion of dialogue and cooperation around common interests.
Among such areas is the encouraging of economic and trade relations. This direction responds directly to the needs of the population.
There is a space for dialogue on education, health care, agriculture, and more. And the relevant forms can be found.
This is an unwritten chapter of our peace initiative. If that happens, it will be welcomed. As for the form, it can be in Tbilisi or in Sokhumi. The main thing is the content and readiness in this direction”, - said the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.
