Levan Lomidze, detained for murdering his ex-wife in Surami, has been sentenced to imprisonment. The Gori Regional Court approved the Prosecutor’s motion, who claimed that there was the risk of the defendant fleeing the jurisdiction.

The defendant, who also attended the trial, confessed to the crime.

Lomidze killed his 26-year-old ex-wife in Surami presumably by an ax.
