The Former Prime Minister of Georgia Tengiz Sigua died at the age of 85.
Under Zviad Gamsakhurdia’s government Sigua presided over the Cabinet of Ministers. When Gamsakhurdia’s government was toppled, he served as an interim prime minister.
On 8 November 1992, he was appointed to the post of prime minister. On 5 August 1993, he stepped down after the parliament rejected the budget by the government.
