The EU Ambassador is concerned about the situation along the dividing line in the occupied Tskhinvali region.

According to Carl Hartzell, the situation on the dividing line is worrying and the EU is a very principled and firm supporter of Georgia in this matter.

“We are closely following all developments, in particular through the EU Monitoring Mission and the EU Special Representative, including my own. Over the past 6-7 months, we have been concerned about the closure of crossing points of Administrative Boundary Line with South Ossetia. We continue making efforts for advancing this issue on the agenda until crossing points are opened. Our position is very clear when it comes to our participation in this matter”, - said Carl Hartzell said.
