The Georgian Embassy to the US has sent kind wishes to a new Ambassador of the USA to Georgia Kelly Degnan, stating that they are looking forward to a new stage of strengthening partnership between the US and Georgia under her tenure.

“Congratulations to the US Ambassador Kelly Degnan on the start of her tenure in Georgia. I was honored to attend her swearing-in ceremony at the U.S. Department of State. I wish her great success & look forward to further strengthening the Georgia-US partnership for the benefit of both nations”, - wrote Davit Bakradze on Facebook.

Degnan, who has 25 years of diplomatic experience, was sworn in at the US Department of State on January 17.
