Aslan Bzhania, the opposition leader of the occupied Abkhazia region of Georgia will participate in the so-called elections of Abkhazia.

Bzhania said that the situation required unification in a team that he would lead.

The so-called presidential elections in occupied Abkhazia are scheduled for March 22. Former de-facto President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba quit post amid the ongoing protest rallies.
