Rapid tests to arrive in Georgia tomorrow – Ekaterine Tikaradze

Rapid tests will be imported in four stages and the number is sufficient to test large groups. Such a statement made today the Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze.

According to her, in two days the population will be able to test for coronavirus.

“As we have announced, we are waiting for the tests to arrive tomorrow, which means that we can start testing of population on Wednesday. This will help our doctors and epidemiologists to detect COVID-19 in a timely manner.

The tests will be delivered in 4 stages. We are waiting for the first tests tomorrow, then on the 27th of March and the last stage will be April 5. The number is enough to test quite large groups”, - said the Minister .
