The Government of Georgia decided to fully fund the utility bills of those households who consume less than 200 kilowatts of electricity and 200 m3 of natural gas per month in March, April and May. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister during the session of the Inter-Agency Coordination  Council. 

According to Giorgi Gakharia, funding also includes cleaning service and water bills.

“This includes both cleaning service and water bills. The government took this decision in order to help our citizens. However, we understand that this assistance will not be enough. Of course, we understand that we have to identify every citizen who has lost their job and after that, we will have special arrangements for their direct assistance”, - said the Head of the Government.
