The Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri announced today that merely 17 persons across the country were fined for disregarding the curfew rules in the last 24 hours. 

“This is a surpsingly low figure. We are happy that people obey the necessary rules. We expected considerably more violations. However, most people stuck to the rules. We are not happy to fine people and ask them to act in line with the law”, - said the Minister.

He added that around 350 citizens and 15 legal entities have been fined for violating the state of emergency regime following its implementation.
