EU to provide EUR 183 million support to Georgia

The European Union will provide EUR 183 million to Georgia in struggle against COVID-19.


Lawrence Meredith, DG for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations, European Commissioner, wrote on Twitter that the European Union will allocate €80 million of immediate and €883 million of short term support to six countries of Eastern Partnership.


“EU is providing €80 million of immediate & €883 million of short term support to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine for COVID19 outbreak”, - tweeted Lawrence Meredith.
